The book just received a fabulous review in the March 2013 edition of the Midwest Book Review.
"Flowers, common in nature, prove to be an inspiration in art for the centuries.
"Flowers in Art: Contemporary International Artists" views floral inspirations
in art in modern works in photography, painting, sculptures, and other mediums
of art as Cindy Ann Coldiron does well in compiling the works of these many
artists, capturing their methods far and well, presenting all of it full color.
For those with a love of floral design, "Flowers in Art" is a strongly
recommended addition to art collections, highly recommended."
The review can be viewed here as well.
This coffee table book was released in January 2013 by Schiffer Publishing. It focuses on high quality floral themed art in two and three dimensional mediums.

“The book is beautifully done. I enjoyed reading the artists' descriptions of their works. I also enjoyed that the author included details such as listing the artists' websites so that I can further investigate my favorites. Be sure not to skip over the lovely selection of flower quotations right before the index.”
